Monster, setting and pick a path writting

 Hi guys,

Welcome back to another blog post. For the past few weeks me and my writing group have been working hard with a task we were given. First in was simple. Chose a picture and write the 5 sences into a plan  I chose a picture of a cave that leads out a lagoon. Sounds easy right ? Well it was but then we had to team up with 1 or 2 people with the same picture as you and do the exact same plan. So I teamed up with Skyla and Karaitiana. We did it and it turned out awesome. Then we had to write a 5 paragraphs together about the senses. It was getting hard now. Then we had to add our monsters into our story. ( Go check out me monster post to met MY monster ). Once we did that we were given the task to think of a problem and suliton and then. I was away that day so I missed out on doing it. Then in out group we had to think of a problem and do a pick a path about in the same setting that we had been doing from the start with our monsters in it. Once we did all of that we had to put it on a slide show and post it to the blog. I hope you enjoy the slide show. As you can see I have worked hard doing this so please comment on it. It is not finished so enjoy what is there already.

Whats the matter ??? Comic strip

Hi guys,
Welcome back to another blog post. This week for reading I read a book called whats the matter?. Its about a boy who sees a flyer about a machine that can provide everything. He decided to get one. So when he git his it said you have to use 3 words or under. The first thing he wished for was ice-cream. That did not go so well. So he asked for his own video. That did not go so well. After a couple of wishes his room was a mess. He knew that his parents would not like it. So when he heard his parents coming down the hallway he sat on the machine and said " CANCEL"... Our task was to make a comic strip that shows what we thought would happen. This is mine.
WALT:Use prior knowledge and context to predict what will happen next.

My flowaden

Hi guys,
Welcome back to another blog post. For the past few weeks my class ruru have been writing and creating our very own monster. My one is called a flowaden. She is a mix between a flamingo, a panda, a penguin, and a owl. My flowaden is named lily. Here is a character description and a google drawing picture of her. I really like comments from my readers. Whenever I see I have a new comment I feel warm inside and have a good day. So please comment. Enjoy !!!
WALT
We are learning to write the problem in narrative.
We are learning what the structure of a narrative is and how to set the scene
We are learning to introduce the characters into the narrative
We are learning to write the solution  in a narrative

This is my planning sheet for  lily

     My Monster Lily

I have an amazing secret to share with you. I hope you can keep a secret ! I have a monster. A kind and thoughtful monster, NOT a mean and scary monster. Her name is Lily.

Lily is a flowaden. That means she has flamingo legs and beach, owl wings and eyes, panda spots and ears plus a penguin head. She looks weird but she is a great friend.

How is lily a floqaden. Well she was the 2 one ever to be alive. But now she is married and has children of her own. Sorry I am getting distracted. Her dad is a flamingo, her mum is a owl, her granddad is a panda and her grandma is a penguin. It is always a weird Christmas for lily.

Lily has a lot of actions. Lily usually eats 3 things: seeds, bamboo and fish. She lives with her husband and 5 kids in the biggest tree in crazy daisy forest. Her family is famous. Not because of their type but because lily is a pop star.

Lily loves to do a lot of things. Like flying around, singing and parenting. Since she is a mix between not-turnel  and turnel creatures, she never sleeps.

This is a story/plan about lily
This is a digatial plan of what I wanted my monster to look like
This is the my monster that has been drawn, coloured, cut out , laminated and been stuck on the wall

Can you find my monster ???
